WHO WE ARE
Notcartel (NCRTL, "we", "us") is a streetwear and skate label based in London, UK. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any question about your data, or to use any of the rights below, message us through our contact page: /contact

WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY
Orders: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number (if you give one) and what you ordered. We use this to process and deliver your order, send order and shipping emails, and handle returns. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.

Payments: card and PayPal payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

Mailing list: your email address and a record that you agreed to join. We use it to email you about new drops and restocks. Legal basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Using the site: our shop platform (Big Cartel) and our file host (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to run the site, keep it secure and stop abuse. We do not add advertising or tracking pixels to this site.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We only share your data with services that help us run the shop:
- Big Cartel: runs our online shop and checkout.
- Stripe and PayPal: process payments.
- Mailchimp (Intuit): sends our mailing list emails.
- Cloudflare: delivers the images and video on this site.
- Royal Mail: delivers your order.
Some of these companies are based in, or store data in, the United States. Those transfers are protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
We never sell your personal data.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order records: for as long as UK tax and accounting law requires (usually 6 years).
Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
Contact messages: as long as we need to deal with your enquiry.

YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or send it to another service. You can also withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To do any of this, message us through our contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

COOKIES
Our shop uses essential cookies from Big Cartel to keep your cart and checkout working. Our site also saves one small setting in your browser for the current visit, so the start-up animation only plays once. We do not use advertising cookies.

CHANGES
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
